Mary Elizabeth High Strange, daughter of Sweptson W. High and Mary Wingo, was born in Oct of 1833 and died Jan. 26, 1905 at the age of 71 and was buried at Boiling Springs First Baptist Church Cemetery, Boiling Springs, Spartanburg County, South Carolina.
Mary married John A. Strange. They had 7 children that I know of Martha, Mary, Benjamin, Thomas, Margaret, John, and Sarah
